🔧 Abergavenny Repair Café – Fix It, Don’t Bin It! ☕♻️
Got a wobbly chair? A toaster that’s given up? Clothes in need of a little TLC? Or even a small part that needs 3D printing to bring something back to life?
Come along to the Abergavenny Repair Café and let’s fix it together!
🛠 What We Offer
Our friendly team of skilled volunteers can help with:
- Electrical repairs (kettles, lamps, small appliances)
- Jewellery
- Sewing and textile repairs (clothes, bags, soft furnishings)
- Furniture fixes
- Bike checks and minor repairs
- 3D printing (perfect for replacing small broken plastic parts that are hard to find or no longer made)
- Advice on how to repair and maintain your items
If it’s portable and needs some love, bring it along!
🔄 How It Works
- Bring your item to the Repair Café.
- Our volunteers will assess it with you.
- You’ll sit down together and work on the repair – we believe in sharing skills, not just fixing things for you.
- Enjoy a cuppa and a chat while you wait!
It’s relaxed, friendly, and all about community.
💚 What Does It Cost?
Nothing!
Repairs are completely free – even the tea and coffee.
We’re a community initiative, so while everything is free, donations are always welcome to help cover hall hire, tools, materials, and those all-important biscuits.
