An event every month that begins at 10:00 am on day Second of the month, repeating indefinitely

A repair café is a volunteer-run event where repair coaches help visitors to fix their beloved but broken item and extend its life. Why throw it away when it can be brought back to life with just a little help!?

Learn new skills, meet new people and create the habit of repairing and reusing things.

The event runs every second Saturday of the month between 10am – 1pm at the Maidenhead Library.

Repair skills available include, amongst others:

  • textiles, sewing
  • woodwork, dolls, toys
  • small electrical items (excludes microwaves)

We aim to fix anything, our volunteers love to solve problems! Check out our Facebook and Instagram to find out what we have been fixing.

Although some of our volunteers are experts, many are simply people who like fixing and tinkering. Others (like the founders!) aren’t practical at all but can organise; help with administration; or staff the front desk.
