There’s been months of detailed planning; listening to what our customers; organisers and volunteers need, and professional support from the amazing Chris Gardner of webjects.co.uk.

We feel proud of the new site which we hope continues to support the growth of Repair Cafes – now 19 monthly events across Wales.

We’ve tried to make it easy for customers to find the right information about their local fixing sessions; given clear information on how people can get further involved by volunteering; creating new cafes; or donating. And, future-proofed the site by including intelligent functionality to support our ambitions to go paper-less at events – more efficient for the customer and our organisers.

All this has demanded close scrutiny to ensure Repair Café Wales is completely GDPR compliant.

As with all things digital we’ve tried to anticipate any glitches.  We now need your help to share with us any problems you find in using the site so we can get it fixed.  Please post any observations on this blog:)
