Hay Repair Cafe are keen to recruit more volunteers, both to help with repairing items, and to assist with the running of the Repair Cafe, including seeking suitable repair strategies and availability of spare parts on the internet, etc.
 
Over the last 12 months, we have repaired a considerable number of hoovers, kettles and toasters, as well as a model sailing ship, a rollator, several wooden chairs, skittles, mole repellants, sewing machines, an apple scratter, an aroma humidifier, rice cooker, pressure washer, steam floor cleaner, Australian clock, brass gondola ....... and improved the safety of childrens' bicycles.
